Two things:
1. Wow! Even the veterinarians make house calls in Mayfield.
2. Beaver talked about having had his tonsils out (when the vet said Stanley would be better off around people he knew), in this season 3 episode. In season 4, there was a whole episode about Beaver's inflamed tonsils, and whether they needed to come out.

Yup and that was a real flaw about tonsils. I guess they didn't realize they would write a whole script about Beaver's tonsils. I can't imagine June let a big monkey in her house. It seemed like Stanley wasn't much trouble but wonder who cleaned his cage? Just like Nick the horse. Who cleaned up?

She was too busy worrying about her clean towels to clean the cage.
In Mathers' book he says that horse was a real problem. There were probably a few curse words about Hugh Beaumont writing that script.

It was amazing June would let a rabbit sleep in Beaver's bed when rabbits poop constantly, anywhere, on anything.

I can't imagine that Stanley stayed in his cage overnight. He seemed to have no trouble opening the door. I think Stanley was way too much for the Cleavers.

I can't imagine June would have any part of a horse, pigeons, rabbits, a mouse or a rat, a baby alligator, or a monkey.
