julian bozo 08-24-2017, 09:22 PM The Facts of Life episodes on Metv are edited.
I watched IQ today, it starts with Mr. Bradley walking in.
They skipped the beginning with Mrs.Garrett talking to the girls.
Blair and Sue Ann bring in a tray of snacks. The girls attack.
Then Mr. Bradley walks in. Also a scene between Blair,Sue Ann, and Nancy is edited. I have the dvds. Yet I still watch them on tv.
mets82 08-24-2017, 09:29 PM Is it as bad as Logo?

Logo airs 18 minute episodes of Facts of Life so I doubt it.
Smartboy 08-25-2017, 01:38 AM I have raised this question before but never got an answer. I have heard of Logo, but do not know a whole lot about it. I do not know if I can pick it up on my system. Is it a gay network?

It was, but now it's more general entertainment.

Everything on MeTV is edited. I think they also used to speed up; however, I think they only do this on openings and closings, now. Some of the scenes were too obviously sped up.
When they have the network or DVD version of a show, their standard length is 23:00; otherwise, they still use the old standard syndication length, around 22:30. They are THE BEST in episode lengths (other than the Starz Encore nets or Canadian Comedy Gold). Most of their edits are pretty good. On FOL, I'd guess they have a syndication-length episode from Sony, so probably it was already edited when they got it. I ought to copy one and see what they're using.
Is The Brady Bunch edited?
stevea 08-25-2017, 05:15 PM ^Yep. If you copy it, and take out the commercials, you'll find an episode time (on that one) of 23:00. Original episode length is over 25 minutes. Like I said above, their editing is usually pretty good (and for BB, they would be the ones who edit it, since their original source appears to be the commercial DVDs).

stevea 08-25-2017, 07:03 PM :) Hey, it's not that bad--most of the time, they do a pretty good job!

That's too bad. And I'm a fan of the show too.

I remember in the Johnny Bravo episode, at the end when they're singing React Positively, it was all sped up one time

Mr. Television 08-26-2017, 07:56 PM Just about everything on TV is edited unless you have a pay tv channel.
