Don't get me wrong, I am a true "Sex and the City" aficionado. I have seen every single episode more times than I can count, and I admire the way Carrie led her life in the big city. But like all great characters, Carrie certainly had her flaws, and this happens to be one of them.
A bisexual isn’t someone who’s “confused.” Bisexuality is a very real sexual orientation.
It is not, as Carrie stated, a "layover on the way to Gaytown.”
Despite her questionable statements, Carrie Bradshaw is still heralded as a groundbreaking feminist icon to this day.
But her offensive commentary on bisexuality would never survive on television in 2017.
