Pearl is a mature woman from modest up-bringings. When she realizes she missed out on a lot, she decides to go back to college, in spite of her grown son's protests. She makes a bunch of new, but weird, friends and is constantly in conflict with her snob philosophy professor.

This sounds kinda funny and interesting what do you guys think?

I remember this show, it was shown here in the UK about 4 years ago but at a stupid time of 3am. It was quite good as I remember. There was some man in it called Pynchon (sp).

Seems sorta familiar... I think they showed it on NickatNite in like '96 or maybe on TVland a long while ago... still seems very familiar!
