I haven't gotten them out but I had 4 teeth pulled last year, but they were impacted in my gum, so I had to go to the hospital and have sugery  But it was worth it. I guess.

It hurt. I had stitches. I know this doesn't help but I felt like sharing lol

I had to have mine cut out by an oral surgeon. I think I was about 20 yrs old. I had to drink liquids and live on soup and popsicles for about a week afterwards.

I had a wisdom tooth on the top pulled and it didnt hurt at all.I was so scared I cryed and panicked and freaked out.The dentist could tell I was scared. When he gave me the novicane I said "can you hit me again?"He gave me the novicane TWICE...cuz I asked for it.I felt nothin,it was over in less than two minutes, and I didnt need any pain medication to recover.
BUT...that was a top tooth.I've heard top ones dont hurt and bottom ones do.(go figure)

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at the same time, the day before school started my junior year in high school. I won't bore you with details but 3 of the teeth were easy, the 4th one I had problems with, but it was the dentist's fault. But thats another story. :)

Hey, 3 out of 4 ain't bad :)

Maybe you won't ever get them. Some people never do.

I was born w/out wisdom teeth, thank God! My friend had hers cut out a couple weeks ago & had to live on pudding (Bill Cosby would be proud) & JELL-O for a while. She also had chipmuck cheeks for about a week ;)

I have had all 4 of my Wisdom teeth out. It hurt for a couple of days. Then it got better. Take my advice DO NOT let your dentist pull your Wisdom teeth out. Go to a oral surgeon. You will feel sore for a week. you will survive though.

most dentists will send you to a oral surgeon, they do that for root canals too.

I forgot to mention that my dentist OFFERED to put me"to sleep"...and I ended up sayng NO. I'm also one of those people who fears being "put under"...what if I never wake up!!!!So I was awake during mine.It wasnt nearly as bad as I thought it would be...it was over in 2 minutes. You feel a little pressure.
