If I could remove the channels that are useless to me and get ones I am missing out on.

most desired cable stations
TeenNick- an hour of Boy Meets World in primetime
Sundance- they have added a lot of classic shows like The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, and M*A*S*H. Plus they still have Law and Order.
Logo- the ads are probably still terrible but they air a lot of Facts of Life and other classics.
Encore Black- commercial free episodes of Different Strokes. When I had the Encore channels one year Suspense was really good with Diagnosis Murder and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, another year Classic was really good with Murphy Brown and Night Court. With all of those shows leaving they aren't quite the same.
Netflix- I hope to get this sometime soon, have not seen the new season of Gilmore Girls yet and am interested in Lemony Snickett, possibly Stranger Things (not if it is TVMA like a lot of their shows).
Hulu Plus- they probably have a good selection but I won''t pay for 2 streaming networks. The regular Hulu site used to be free, it is too bad they took that away.

Retronets- these need to be available without needing a local affiliate.
Me-TV is my most wanted station. I would also like Buzzr, LAFF for Night Court, Cozi with Frasier at a better time than Hallmark, and the station that airs a bunch of Deep Space Nine.

Stations I would gladly get rid of to get the above channels
all news stations- can't stand politics
OWN
HGTV
the multitude of sports stations
FX
Bounce- only good show they air is The Cosby Show, the retronets I listed above would be much preferred.
A&E
Lifetime- this station went downhill fast. They used to air some good shows like Frasier, Reba, and Less Than Perfect. Now absolutely nothing.
MTV
VH1
QVC and all other shopping channels
TLC- unless they bring back Outrageous 911 and Extreme Cheapskates
the Disney channels
weather channels
History
E!

Stations I like
Antenna TV- several good shows already on the lineup, plus many more still to join. Out of the 9 new/returning shows coming later this year the only one I am not interested in is Soap.
Hallmark Movies and Mysteries- an already great channel that will be adding The Rockford Files in a few days
GSN- still too much Harvey Feud but I like the Dick Clark Pyramid hour, Cash Cab, and The Chase.
UP- new episodes of Heartland, also 7th Heaven and Gilmore Girls. I wish they would give Touched by an Angel decent slots like it used to have.
WGN- lots of Blue Bloods and M*A*S*H
BBC America- plenty of Star Trek: Voyager and The Next Generation. They need to get Deep Space Nine since they are home to 3 other Star Treks.
ION- Blue Bloods all day on Thursdays. They need to bring Leverage back and give Psych a day. I like Law and Order but 4 days of its shows is too much. Criminal Minds can also have a day cut.
TCM- a rare network that actually hasn't strayed from its original purpose. A lot of good movies I hadn't seen before.
Hallmark (to an extent)- 2 hours of The Middle in primetime is nice. Totally removing Home Improvement was not cool though, especially since no other network airs it. Frasier and I Love Lucy are great shows but have terrible slots. Cheers is even worse, just 1 hour a day at 4AM despite 11 seasons. Hallmark needs to learn from its sister channel Movies and Mysteries, they give weekday shows Saturday or Sunday marathons.
INSP- only station that still airs The Waltons. They need to give The Jeff Foxworthy Show a decent slot. Bringing back Our House, Wind at My Back, and Christy would be nice instead of all the westerns.
Broadcast networks- new episodes of favorites like Designated Survivor, Blue Bloods, Once Upon a Time, The Middle, Scorpion, Timeless, and Superhuman.
My Network TV- I never saw The X-Files in its original run, so the repeats have all been new to me. I don't know why they skip so many of them though.
FXX- for the sole purpose of Mad About You. Its 7AM hour does not work for me but they put 5 different episodes on demand each week.
Discovery- I do not currently watch anything here but they will be airing new episodes of Cash Cab soon.

I wouldn't have always agreed with the "get rid of" channels, but now I would, with the possible exception of A&E (only for Saturday morning). I am so sick of politics I'd get rid of all of those; it's so bad, when the local news starts on it, I mute that, also.

I really want Buzzr, Boomerang (instead of Cartoon Network), and FeTV, but Comcast loads up with garbage (such as the junk shown above) I don't want.

Basically, I'd only KEEP:
Local channels
MeTV
FETV
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (for "Matlock" & "Murder, She Wrote")
RFD-TV (for "The Porter Wagoner Show" & "Hee Haw")

Channels I'd love to have:
Antenna TV
Laff
Cozi TV
Buzzr

I guess I'm lucky because I get Antenna TV, Me-TV, Cozi (on a crappy/weird signal but I do), and Laff.

I'd gladly trade any other channel for:
Decades
Buzzr
Fetv (if it was OTA but sadly it's not):(

I would trade Viceland, American Heroes Channel, Bravo, National Geographic, Z Living and the dreaded Cowboy Channel for:

Me-TV, Antenna TV, Decades, TV One, Bounce, Cozi TV (I have FETV which shows some of Cozi programming) and Comet for Ring of Honor.

I had never seen anything on National Geographic until this year when their first scripted show Genius premiered. Even if it did well I don't see how Genius could be renewed considering they basically covered all of Einstein's life. Odds are I never see anything on National Geographic after this year either.

I traded all the channels out there for this one in 2007.

Since I have this one I have no need for any of the others! :D

One problem with that is finding a reliable DVD player, an issue my family has had for the last few years.

I am very unhappy with my ABC affiliate. One of the stations they own is the My Network TV affiliate. I was getting ready to watch The X-Files like I do every Tuesday night. Keep in mind it had been airing on 2 stations, 18 and 252. On Channel 18 there was a message saying all the content that had been on that station was now solely on 252. I turn to 252 and it has been made an HD channel that you have to get an HD package for. You should not have to pay extra for a local station. The other local HD channels are near the start of the 1000s, if the HD channel had been put there and regular My Network kept on either 18 or 252 it would have been fine. I never saw The X-Files in its original run, and My Network was the only station airing it besides the revival on FOX. Tonight's episode that I missed out on was the 2 part season 8 finale that was Mulder's last as a regular from the original run. The Middle also aired weeknights at 7:30PM but that at least airs on other channels.

One problem with that is finding a reliable DVD player, an issue my family has had for the last few years.

I have a Blu-Ray Player, a region-free DVD Player and a combo DVD/VCR. If I have difficulty with one player I'll slip the disk in one of the other players and continue to watch. I have another VHS/DVD Recorder sitting in its unopened box in my closet. If something happens to my VCR/DVD I'll replace it with the other.

I just got INSP today. Is that a good channel?

Btw, ROH isn't on Comet anymore. Its on a channel called Charge.

I would keep Antenna, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, FXX for The Simpsons, COZI TV, LOGO and Hallmark TV Land because they do air old shows even though its presented like crap. UP for The Gilmore Girls. POP for Beverly Hills 90210, Baywatch.

I would love to have ME TV, FETV and Buzzr.

That's why I got rid of cable tv years ago. I got tired of paying for 300 channels to see the six channels I actually watched. Too bad we'll never have ala Carte because about 80% of the channels would go belly up.

Keep:

Laff - For Night Court and Home Improvement

MeTV - For The Brady Bunch along with the other shows

Buzzr - For all the black and white game shows

Oxygen - I like some of the shows that are on there

Get rid of:

The multiples of Spanish and international channels - A couple is fine, but keep only a few of each and get rid of the rest of them

Channels and networks I would like to get:

Antenna TV

H&I

Movies!

Charge!

Comet

TBD

If it wasn't for Raymond I'd get rid of TV Land (so I'll ditch TBS instead), and trade it for Buzzr.

I'll trade Cartoon Network for Boomerang.

There are a ton of them on the upper channels that I'd ditch, just so I wouldn't have to pay for them anymore.
