Today's edited episodes are:

12:00pm Julie's best Friend
12:30pm Super Blues

1:30pm Fighting City Hall
2:00pm David Plus Two

Please chime in with how bad the edits actually are. This is actually kinda interesting to see how they compare to Antenna's.

So I am watching a recorded episode that is about Ed no longer wanting to pay child support. It is Season 4 Episode 1. By this point, Julie was over 18 so he wouldn't have been paying for her anymore anyway. She was a high school Junior in Season One so she should have been 20 by this point. And Barbara should have been a Senior. Weren't they two years apart?

Julie was in design school at the time and it's possible the child support agreement covered up through the girls being in College or a trade school.

Barbara was a Freshman and Julie was a Junior in Season One. (Barbara was actually about a year younger than Val and Julie was a year and a half older than Mac)

It was an episode that would have made more sense in Season One or Two, when both girls were in high school.

It really is kind of sad to watch these early season episodes knowing that Mackenzie was on such a downward spiral. By Season Three she was 18 and that is when she said that she became "involved" with her Father.

I see what you're saying, but I find watching her healthy in the early seasons the most enjoyable.

She looks good during the first two seasons, but after that, you can start seeing a difference.

I'll disagree slightly again. I thought she looked fine through season 4.

Yeah. I agree. It really would have! ;)

So one of today's episodes has Ann hooking up with a visiting symphony conductor. It is ridiculous to have so many men interested in Ann as played by Bonnie Franklin.

And Mary Louise Wilson's Ginny was just as absurd. Just because they took every opportunity to cram her into her waitress costume did not make her attractive.

Valerie Bertinelli was a doll and Mackenzie was somewhat attractive until her decline. Neither one of them look like Bonnie Franklin's children.

ETA: I thought I remembered Bonnie actually being a brunette so I googled for pictures of her appearances on Gidget. Then in one of today's episodes, Ann admits that she dyes her hair. She would have looked better if she had stayed a brunette.

So in the episodes about Julie and and the older doctor, they say that she is seventeen. How was she still just seventeen? I thought she was seventeen when she took off with Chuck?

It was the end of summer/early fall after she graduated from high school in that episode, so it was odd for her to be two months away from 18.

I though we were supposed to be talking about the Logo editing of this show.

I recorded my episodes from Antenna TV and Comedy Gold so major editing has never been a problem for me when watching it on these stations.

None of that matters anymore because the complete series comes out in a few months so all fans will have their episodes in better condition than what Logo is airing.

I just wish Logo would stop airing ODAAT if they're going to hack the episodes down to 18 minutes or less.

I agree! And she would have looked more like Julie and Barbara's Mother with her natural brunette hair! ;)And her red hair wasn't even a hot vibrant red, it was a flat boring color ! Not that bad in the first couple seasons , but when her hair was cut shorter the color looked really bland!!:p IMO red hair needs to be long! Short red hair on women looks like Chucky !
