One of my all time favorite R&B songs is Lovin' You by Minnie Riperton and I just happened to find a cd of Minnie Riperton in my box of music and I would like to know if you remember her? She was destined to be a superstar in music but had passed away in 1979 but her songs have been covered by singers such as Shanice and Chante Moore and the song Lovin' You was also used in a Burger King commercial advertising their breakfast menu in the 90's. It's a shame you can't find singers like Minnie Riperton today because her voice was enchanting to listen to

Although "Lovin' You" is often ridiculed, it's really a beautiful song. I 've always loved it. It takes me right back to 1975. It's sad that Minnie died so young. :(

And very sad she died so young! :( I'm sure she would have had other really pretty love songs too! :)

Not long ago I saw something on her and her cancer. Very sad. She was talented. Her daughter reminds me of her.
