It looks like most stores don't carry blank video tapes and if they do...they're expensive ($13 for three tapes is a tad pricey)...
Does Amazon or Ebay sell them cheaper?

Zoneboy 08-08-2017, 07:27 PM You can find them at Goodwill and other thrift stores quite often. MrCleveland 08-08-2017, 07:58 PM You can find them at Goodwill and other thrift stores quite often. I'm planning on going to a second-hand store tomorrow after work. I went to a Rite Aid today and I told an employee you were out of video cassettes. He said that there should be some here today. I told him not to worry since I do have some blank videocassettes. But since they're becoming rarer like audio cassettes... It's best to be safe than sorry.... Hawkee 08-09-2017, 01:54 AM Try Big Lots because when I shop there I have seen blank videocassettes made by Konica and they can be found in the checkout counter and they are sold in a three pack. Another store you can try is CVS and look in their electronic section/photo department and they should sell blank videocassettes there for a really cheap price. I know this because Mom used to buy our blank videocassettes and our camcorder tapes from the drug store all the time because we always taped TV shows a lot Hope this advice helps you Mr Cleveland Bestie Penny Lane 08-09-2017, 01:31 PM I buy mine from amazon.com MrCleveland 08-09-2017, 06:12 PM I buy mine from amazon.com I will be doing my shopping online from now on...long story... MrCleveland 08-20-2017, 09:28 PM Yup looks like online shopping is about it now... Thrift stores are getting rid of VHS sadly.... Anything analogue....... Its really quite sad... I do hate that... I bought a few audio tapes that were blank and they play well even after a few years. I'll be buying more online since it saves time... I'll be buying tapes online unfortunately since it's old...but if you have shows on DVD, sometimes they get scratched so bad that you can't even play the disc...and DVD's are more beneficial than VHS? 1960'sTVfan 08-21-2017, 03:12 PM I still use VHS, if I need blank tapes I shop for them online. Amazon, ebay, etc. Zoneboy 08-21-2017, 06:33 PM Try Big Lots because when I shop there I have seen blank videocassettes made by Konica and they can be found in the checkout counter and they are sold in a three pack. Big Lots here had Konica blank tapes, but that was over 20 years ago and I've never seen any since. mets82 08-21-2017, 07:02 PM I know. Its very hard to find blank videocassetes. You really have to go online, like Walmart. But they are expensive. Dude111 08-23-2017, 06:34 PM I still use VHSExcellent :) |
