In 1987 an adorable cartoon series named Maple Town made it's debut in syndication. The show which was based on an adorable toy line made by Tonka was produced by Saban and featured cute episodes with a story and a lesson for younger children to learn and featured a live action intro starring Mrs. Maple who was played by an actress named Janice Adams who gave us info on what the episode was about and the lesson to be learned. It's a shame that there's no cartoons that teach young children lessons that are wonderful like Maple Town today because it was such a cute cartoon

This was a Japanese series and only dubbed into English by Saban, it was not produced by them. The Toys were also of Japanese origin and licensed by Tonka for distribution in the US.

I wished they would put it on DVD in English so I can give it to my nephew.

That would be nice but I dont think Saban has any interest in releasing their older dubbed anime (if they even have the full rights to do so). Theres a ton they dubbed, such as:

Sabans Little Mermaid
Sabans Pinocchio
Macron-1
Maya The Bee
Honeybee Hutch
Mysterious Cities of Gold (thankfully, this has been released in many different countries)
Super Pig
Grimms Fairy Tales
Bumpity Boo
Ox Tales
Noozles
Wowser
Dragon Warrior
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
Peter Pan the Animated Series
Littl’ Bits
Samurai Pizza Cats
Bob in a Bottle
Maple Town
Adventures of the Little Koala
......and a TON more. They were one of the most prolific companies to dub Japanese animation into English. Some series were not even aired in North America- Super Pig and Bob in a Bottle for example.
