Don't read this if you've never seen the movie!

If anyone noticed Teen Wolf was on earlier this week and I finally got in on tape. Anyone else ever get emotional at the end of this movie? Everything about the ending is perfect. Yes it was the typical happy ending to a fun and goofy 80's movie but I always thought the ending of the movie had a little extra special feeling to it. From the moment that the second foul shot goes in and Amy Holland's Shooting for the Moon begins until the screen goes from freeze frame w/ MJF being held in his dad's arms while he kisses the head of Boof to black as the credits roll is a stretch of great emotion for the viewer in my opinion. The Amy Holland song is excellent and I have it on MP3 and burned the song to my best movie soundtracks mix. The whole ending to that movie always is great no matter how many times you've seen it. The main point I want to make is that I don't think an ending like that could have been good in movie like Teen Wolf unless Michael J. Fox was the main focus of the movie and its ending. There are so many awesome things about that ending but I'll spare everyone my babbling about all of the great things that transpire at the end of this movie and suggest that every true MJF fan get their own copy of the movie. Then you can sit back and enjoy the greatness of MJF's acting anytime you want!

I saw the movie months ago on the Family channel and taped it. It's a funny film. I don't think I ever got emotional when I watched the end, though. I only cry at films that are based on true stories, it seems. But, it wa a very funny movie. I would definetely reccommend it to anyone who is a Michael J. Fox fan.

:) :happyface

I don't know that I cry at the end but I always get that fuzzy emotional feeling where you can plainly say that the ending scene was perfectly done. You just couldn't ask for a better storybook ending. Too many times people say that they wanted to experience something real when they give feedback about a film. I say that sometimes a movie should be something that is totally unreal and just makes you feel good when it ends. The ending to this movie does exactly that and in this case that is just flat out good enough for me.

I have seen a bit of it and thought it was funny, but not the whole thing. What is it rated?

I think the film is rated PG. That's what I'm sure I heard when it was shown on the Family channel. That channel always says the ratings for most of the movies it shows.

I saw this movie a few weeks ago and I thought it was really funny! It's supposed to be coming to DVD this August and Michael's other big movie from 1985, Back to the Future, is also being released on DVD this September. Oh and yea the movie is rated PG.

The funniest moment in the movie is when MJF's dad tells him
the truth that their entire family are werewolves and MJF makes
the crack about chasing cars once a month.
Hmmm...is it possible that MJF's family in the movie lives somewhere near..say..Sunnydale,California?LOL!!!!:)

Bad times for me but that is why I taped it the last time it was on TNT. Maybe I'll tape Encore's unedited version over the edited TNT version that I have.

...and how about Melrose Place's Doug Savant as MJF's basketball teammate? Nice hair!
