On the REUNION post we were talking about Kirstie Alley, so I thought i'd make a board. If anyone has any opinions or why the heck hasn't she repraised her roll, let them be heard here!!

I don't think she is...she's taking care of her kids right now and she has other stuff to do. I'll still like her if she never came back for a reunion ever.

Before I give an opinion on whether or not Kirstie is a butt-munch, can you please define butt-munch?
Thanks

I guess it would kind of mean "Stubborn'' or.....Just a person who is kinda like lame.....but not exactly.....like......someone who doesn't do what you would like them to do? I've heard it when other people talk so I wouldn't EXACTLy know

Butt munch sort of means Butt Head almost...its some kind of insult.

I can't say if Kirstie's being a butt-munch because I don't know her reasoning for not participating in these events. I've never read an interview or heard her discuss it on a talk show. I am curious though. Cheers did, after all, put her on the map.

Doing lame commercials for 'Pier One' imports, or some houseware store like that.

I enjoyed her work for years...and think it's kinda sad she's been reduced to advertising.

I agree with a previous post, saying that we really don't know why Kirstie wasn't there. Just because we, the fans, cannot see that she is doing things, she may be involved with things that aren't in the entertainment business. Obviously, I am a total Shelley Long fan, but I am not ashamed to campaign for Kirstie when needed. I think that she has been fair and kind in past involvements with the show. Please try to give her a break, we do not know the circumstances. It could have been something as simple as her child was ill or even she was feeling under the weather. Remember, they are people too.

I would have to agree with you, stars aren't obligated to things they can do what they want they are people and can make their own decisions and they should not have to please fans.

I read in Entertainment Weekly and on the internet that the reason why Kirstie Alley did not appear on Frasier is because she is a scientologist. In scientology, it is beleaved that the religion can heal the mind and there is no need for outside help. So she didn't do the episode because the series revolves around a psychiatrist.

But Kirstie did say in EW that there is one way she would do Frasier: if the writers wrote a script where she 'does' Frasier. I think if they could do an episode where Niles and Lilith did it, the writers could certainly do that.

Thats weird because I thought I read on abc.com that she played a therapist on Dharma & Greg.
