THe boys spend more time trying to make it look like they took a bath than actually taking a bath.

Did you ever do this? Bathtime was fun for me. I liked being clean. I would never have come up with the idea of throwing dirt in the water.

I did do that, but I wasn't smart enough to think of throwing dirt in it, of course I later realized it would have been just as easy to just take the bath.

My mother wouldn't have assumed I took a bath at that age. She would watch and make sure. June just says
"Boys I want you to take baths tonight."

That was a funny scene making the water dirty, towels wet and wring out wash cloths. My favorite Cleaver bath is Mr. Jeff's the bum enjoying a bubble bath in Ward and June's tub. Love how Beaver had him use their bathroom cuz the boys' wasn't clean.

Yeah, and we've talked about another good line, for June (finding the old clothes): "I don't think Beaver was entertaining Noel Coward."

I don't remember fighting taking a bath, but when I was real small, I recall it was an every other day thing. But Beaver sure hated them!

In the very last episode of the series "Family Album" they show a clip of this episode. I love Wally's line "Hey Beav, can I borrow some of your turtle dirt? It'll leave a ring."

The homeless man taking a bath at the Cleavers was one of the funniest episodes. :lol:

My memories don't go quite that far back, but I do recall my mom carrying me out of our bathtub.

I swear I remember taking a drink from my moms things when I was little but my mom said she didnt breast feed me........ Maybe I remember seeing my brother getting a drink I dont know..... We were at my mums aunt Caroles house......
