Maybe that Bollywood career didn’t work out the way "Days of Our Lives‘" Vivian planned?

Louise Sorel soon will return to the NBC soap, Soap Opera Digest reports. Sorel has played villainess Vivian Alamain off and on for 25 years.



Fellow daytime vet Robin Strasser announced the casting on her Twitter, which NBC later confirmed.

"#LouiseSorel as if you didn't know is reprising her iconic role on #DaysOfOurLives #Corday knows what makes our day(s) doesn't he?"

One of Port Charles’ longtime residents is relocating to Salem.

Tyler Christopher, who played Nikolas Cassadine on ABC’s "General Hospital", is joining the cast of NBC’s "Days of Our Lives" in an as-yet-unspecified role, EW.com reports.

Christopher is said to have begun filming last week, with his on-screen debut not expected before the end of the year or early 2018.

I wonder if Ivan will be accompanying her. I haven't seen anything about him coming but she's got to have her manservant.

I really do too, Ivan was an awesome character, and its not the same without him by her side. I can't believe hes in the movie 2012 i think thats the movie.

I haven't watched Days in simply forever, but the character of Vivian was always such a hoot, thanks to Louise's hilarious performance. :lol:

Maybe its time for you to tune right back in. She should be showing up again by new years if not sooner, Days is back to its heyday and its just awesome and just awesome performances by all actors, its just awesome now. Tune in we need to keep the ratings up and GO to number one again.

I agree, Vivian was an awesome character but what made the character better was Louise's amazing talent.

DAYS is really good now with the new writer. Seems all the characters are way better.
