Why is Facts of Life at 6AM??? Couldn't find a timeslot @ 8:30PM for it??? And plus I thought it was coming to Antenna next year?

Even though I have the complete series of Facts of Life on DVD, I sure am glad it's on MeTV instead of Antenna since they don't crunch credits. I just wish it was on at night instead.

I'm glad "The Beverly Hillbillies" is staying on at 4pm weekdays.

6am for "The Facts of Life"? That's an odd choice. I wish it was on at 5pm or in the afternoons.

Saturdays are still a stinker. Also the westerns on every weekday is a snooze fest.

I'm sick of not having ME-TV.

Either Mr. Ed wasn't working for them or they lost the rights. I noticed This TV picked it up recently.

Does anyone know if Sony syndicates The Facts of Life? I think MeTV must have worked some deal with Sony...this is probably how they now have the rights to more Donna Reed Show episodes.

They should have put two Facts of Life on in place where that lousy Hogan's Heroes is. That show has been on in the same time forever.

I love Cannon! I saw it a few years back on METV when they played crime shows on Sunday afternoons!! ;) Before that I hadn't seen it in years either! :) :wave:

Barnaby Jones pops up on Decades occasionally.

Awful timeslot for Cannon. It's a fun show. Even though he's a big target, he manages to escape death. Lots of gorgeous guest-stars like Arlene Golonka, Joan Van Ark, Cindy Williams, and Lane Bradbury (H - O - T !).

I'm satisfied with the changes and am glad they're keeping "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES" and "CHEERS". just wish though that they'd move the westerns into prime time. Also get rid of "MASH"!!! It's a good show but they had it forever-and in the same time slot!!!

I wish The Facts of Life had come to Antenna TV instead, doesn't do me any good with no Me-TV affiliate. Antenna also would have given it a lot nicer slot. And yes, I know FOL is on Logo but I do not get that channel anymore.

I may install my converter box at my dad's house because having The Facts of Life on MeTV is...wow!

I may even get a stronger antenna and converter box because of this!

I guess Remington Steele wasn't cutting it at 11 am. But Diagnosis Murder probably wasn't doing well, either, or Steele wouldn't have been placed there. So since they're going back to the well, maybe they think they have no alternative. Also leads me to think Patty Duke is winning the time. Maybe MeTV should have doubled up FOL and tried a sitcom at 11.

That's true too. At least they don't crunch credits like Antenna but their scheduling is pretty bad. Most of the shows I would want to watch are on at such bad times or not on enough.

Maybe the 6am thing with FOL is a trial to see how it does. If it does well, maybe they'll give it a better time slot.

FOL does seem more like a show for Antenna than Me, but I'm glad Me got it since they don't crunch credits like Antenna so I can hear the full closing theme.

yea, but INSP crunches the closing credits and also shrinks them down and plays them over the final scene. STARZ/ENCORE WESTERNS doesn't.

I would also like to see ALF, Mama's Family and Saved By The Bell leave. I just don't find those three shows to fall under the umbrella of "classic TV".

The worst thing about Saved By The Bell is that horrible theme (if you can call it that)...to me it's just a bunch of pointless noise. Anyway, I think they've found a better time for Mama...9 pm, and I hope it stays there.

According to Wikipedia, it's apparently set to return in September. D'oh! After longing for cable as a young kid, I now seem to long for over-the-air TV as an adult, thanks to one show on one channel...lol. Oh well.

Small Wonder is back on Antenna's schedule in September -- Saturdays at 1 p.m. Eastern.

There are a lot of changes, Welcome Back Kotter joins the lineup weekdays at 6:30PM and 1:30AM. A lot of double episodes are being done away with. The link I posted has the complete lineup, it starts the day after Labor Day. Welcome Back, Kotter gets a launch marathon on Labor Day from 5AM-10PM.

I'll miss Ironside. I've enjoyed watching it. I have Cannon on DVD so that leaves nothing at 3:00am for me. I'll really miss Mayberry RFD at 8:00pm as again I have Gomer Pyle USMC on DVD as well.

6:00am seems an odd time for The Facts of Life. I'd really like to see that at 10:00pm. They could run two episodes per weeknight as it had a long run. I'm sick of Hogan's Heroes and four hours of westerns a day but they must be working out for MeTV.
