Totally I do! Thanks for posting it! :)

I love the "He'll bring in the girls, he'll bring in the guys" line.;)

But they screwed up a bit with "Mantle mansion"; Veronica's the rich one, not Reggie. I always figured Reggie's family had more money than Archie's, making him more of a rival for the girls' affections, but I never thought he was supposed to have a mansion. I suppose just the thought of doing a concert with Glenn made the Riverdalians forget their proper places.:)

I hope you can get the "celebrity" issue too. Aside from Valerie, how many of those people do you think Glenn actually knew?

At least I learned the butler/man Friday also featured in the story I have is named Otto!:)

Another Glenn story from Pep #405, cover date March 1986. Here's the cover, though Glenn does not appear on it, nor is he mentioned.

The first page "splash" panel. The art is different from his appearance with the Archies; it's a less realistic representation. Glenn's father may be the artist, but no credits are given for this story.

Here's my favorite panel from the story. Comic Glenn looks cute, and the dialogue is  .
I'll post the entire story, as long as I don't get in copyright trouble with Archie Comics! I know how they feel about Archie/Reggie slash fiction!

Already pricing it. About 2 bucks if I wait till I'm buying stuff anyways (when I'd already be paying for shipping), about 6 bucks if I can't wait and get it on it's own.

At first I was psyched to own the only Glenn appearance. Then I was bummed to find out there were more. Now I'm thrilled to find a Valerie Bertinelli comic

It's more at home here anyway. Mostly, I just took a few select pictures because I wanted to see how large the images posted.:)

See, and I wasn't aware of the cover appearance and crossover story with the Archies. The time would have been my heyday for buying Archie comics, so I must have just missed that one.

2 to 6 dollars isn't bad for what may be Valerie's only comic book appearance (which is a shame).;) :)

You have to post the whole story now. If I'm getting locked up for copyright infringement, you're going with me

Okay, opus hasn't been arrested, so I guess I can post this (actually, I just kept forgetting). Here's Glenn Scarpelli in Hollywood in "Brenda and Joan." Joan retired from the comic biz not long after this story, but Brenda continued to make appearances in DC and Marvel comics well into the mid-'90s, usually as an innocent bystander.

I think Glenn's reaction would have been more positive if the "fans" looked more like Boyd Gaines and Michael Lembeck. ;) :)

Totally! :). Well, one is dressed kind of masculine.
It's funny that Glenn is the star, but he has only one line: "Hi girls!"

Yeah, you would think his daddy would have given him more dialogue.

But, man he really looked handsome in that strip. with his full kissable lipe.

I know; the third panel on the last page---in my fantasies, that's how I'd picture him after we made wild monkey love!:)

Those are neat. I've a bunch of Archie's but I stopped collecting them before the Glenn ones came about, though I did start buying them again for my daughter when she got into them. I've since bought some of the volumes that has stuff going back to the 40's.

I've read Afterlife with Archie, which I really enjoyed. Some of the new stuff where they make the characters look real is strange to me.

Yeah; most of what is in Archie, DC, and Marvel, I'm personally not in love with, but if it keeps the characters going for current tastes, more power to them. Keep 'em alive, because hopefully one day the old school versions will come back into vogue...or any of the other ladies' magazines.
