My mom used to like Progresso Soup and would buy it when it was on sale and her favorite Progresso Soup was the vegetable soup but when Progresso Soup's broth became watery she switched to Campbell's Soup and she likes it a lot. I don't know why Progresso Soups made their broth watery but something tells me that Progresso Soups have a new recipe to make their soups taste good

I'm more of a Campbell's soup person. Though I did like their commercials.

I'm not one for soup, but my husband enjoys Progresso. His favorites are split pea with ham, pasta fagioli, New England clam chowder, and lentil to name a few. He had their French onion soup tonight.

I used to find some good sales on it at the supermarket, even CVS, but not so much anymore. I used to like to stock up. Some cost over $3.00 a can now.

Do any of you oldsters remember Progresso's jingle?....

My mom and niece like their lentil soup.

Sometimes Dollar Tree stores will get some in, and once in a while other stores will have it for about $1 a can if you buy several.

I'll get any type of canned soup...but I like eating soup when the weather is cooler.

Is that the jingle for Progresso Soup that went,
"Share the love share the glow"
There's no soup like Progresso"
I actually found the jingle while doing commercial research and it brought back memories of when my mom used to eat Progresso Soup and when she liked it a lot. I myself dislike Progresso Soup because their chicken soup has vegetables and i'm not a vegetable fan but i'm a Knorr soup girl and a Campbell's chicken noodle soup fan

Progresso is cheaper than Campbell’s, and you get what you pay for. It’s lower quality.

I don’t remember the jingle but ocassionally have their soups: a chicken brothy variety or their vegetable or minestrone. Besides bring sky high in sodium, most have quite a bit of carbs too. I try to scoop out a lot the noodles & rice to do damage control.

But I’m lazy so I don’t really make soup from scratch except for chicken soup. I know there are probably some good low carb recipes out there but have yet to try them.

I think today I will try a “biscuit” recipe with almond flour. Wish me luck. I’m not exactly Betty Crocker.

That’s not my experience. I find Progresso a tiny bit better than Campbell’s but certainly, gourmet dining it isn’t. I find them pricier than Campbell’s too; I never by Progresso unless it’s on sale. (So I suppose, at the end of the day, a Progresso is a poorer value than Campbell’s)
