December 16, 1943 - July 26, 2017 Patti Deutsch, one of Hollywood's premiere voice over artists, succumbed to cancer at home after a long battle. She is survived by husband Donald Ross, sons Max Ross and Lee Sachnoff, daughter Alexis Hill, daughters-in-law Daphne King Ross, Jennifer Fedin, and Linda Yale, grandchildren Violet Ross, Xander Fedin-Hill, and Sam Sachnoff, and Basset Hounds Frank and Beans. Joshua White and many loving cousins and friends were with Patti in her final days. In a career spanning a half century, Patti was heard or seen in some 500 local and national radio and TV commercials. Everything from "squeezing the Charmin" with Mr. Whipple to sharing a cup with Mrs. Olson the Folgers coffee lady. Patti's quick wit established her as a popular celebrity participant on the TV game shows "Match Game" and "Tattle Tales." She was a frequent guest of Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, and also appeared on Merv Griffin, Dick Cavett, and Steve Allen. She performed on the Tom Jones series as a member of the Ace Trucking Company improv group and was a regular cast member on the final season of "Laugh In." She did voice over work in feature films "The Jetsons," "Tarzan," and "The Emperor's New Groove," and TV shows "Angry Beavers," "Capitol Critters," and "The Smurfs." A believer in higher education, Patti attended Bennington College, Carnegie Mellon, UT Austin, and USC, all in 4 years, and she appeared on stage in "California Suite" at La Mirada and Long Beach. A personal highlight was when Sid Caesar chose Patti as his new "Imogene Coca" for his engagement at New York City's Rainbow Grill. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity is appreciated. A celebration of Patti's life is planned, a 30 second spot and a 60 second spot.

I wasn't expecting this. She wasn't that old.

I loved her appearances on Match Game.

Sad irony. We were watching Match Game yesterday, and without looking it up, were wondering if she was still alive.

How eerie is that?

Patti was so funny and entertaining. I wish I had met her as she was a native Pittsburgher like I am.

She is the second Laugh-In lovely to leave us this year, following Chelsea Brown four months ago.

R.I.P. darling Patti. You will be dearly missed

I liked Patti, on MG, Tattletales with her husband Donald, and with the Ace Trucking Company comedy group when they would appear on Carson and other talk shows in the 60s and 70s. Sorry to hear this. Everyone is slipping away.

That's sad. But I only ever knew her from Match Game and Tattletales with her husband (I was just a kid then). I always thought she was kind of odd (still funny, but odd), and she and her husband seemed so ordinary and plain looking to me, not at all glamorous like other Hollywood couples.

Same here. I did happened to see Decades channel showing Rowan and Martins Laugh In and saw she was a cast member there on R and M. Her husband was always puffing away on his cigar on Tattletales
