After Warren left it seemed Andy did very little Sheriffing in the color episodes. I've often wondered why TAGS didn't go the Last of the Summer Wine route and have Andy and two other people (maybe Howard and Goober) go off on adventures like the real life Andy Griffith, Jack Dodson, and George Lindsey did when they weren't filming the show. Also fun fact Andy Griffith was fond of dirt biking

Andy loved the outdoors, kind of neat to see how much overlap his character had in many ways. The love he and Ron Howard had for one another was very apparent too, which was neat!
