This one has been stuck in my head lately, and I can't remember what season it was.
A daughter stayed home sick from school one day when some people broke into her house and robbed it. If I remember correctly, she was knocked unconscious, bound and gagged. I can't remember how it ended though, and if she survived or not.
Can anybody help jog my memory?

Her name was Sarah Powell. I remember reading that she had made the whole thing up & the robbery never happened. She did survive. Not sure if anyone else can clarify
amandab1234 is correct, it was Sarah Powell (http://unsolvedmysteries.wikia.com/wiki/Sarah_Powell).
I'm of the opinion that Ms. Powell was 'skylarking'. Others likely differ.

It originally aired in Season 8 so if Filmrise releases it should be on streaming video sometime next month.

From what I can recall it was a highly implausible tale where the evidence didn't match her account & I felt it was likely her seeking attention.

I don't doubt that SOMETHING happened to her that day. I don't think she is making the whole thing up. But I do think she is not telling the whole story (or didn't tell the whole story). I think she either knows who did it and/or it was an inside job that went wrong, or she had people over and then felt guilty about it.
I feel bad in the sense that she was a young girl and she probably made a mistake or was scared. The story as she told it, though, does not make sense and seems highly implausible.

I could go either way on this one.
To start, her story just doesn't make a ton of sense, especially when aside from the ransacking of the house and her being tied up, there was no evidence left behind at all from a group of intruders, primarily no muddy footprints left on a rainy day.
But, to convincingly fake amnesia and the subsequent seizures to her mother, medical workers and others, would be a difficult matter I think.
Plus, the no evidence left in the house works both ways. I mean, most people I have seen who think she is making it up assume that she had friends over and they had a party of sorts and trashed the house. But anyone coming over and walking through the house would be just as likely to leave footprints and such behind as well as intruders.
So what, she just made up the whole thing and ransacked the house herself? That doesn't make any sense either. This is another of those cases that seems mysterious as presented on UM but probably just has one small, seemingly insignificant detail that answers the whole thing with a simple explanation.

This is one of the most memorable cases for me. Scared me so much as kid. Though about it all the time when I was home alone. It's hard for me to believe someone would make up a whole account like that. I truly believe that something happened and with amnesia and all she ended up recalling somethings that were her imagination. I also think we may not have gotten the full story
