At least Vicki Lawrence's character is SUPPOSED to be an old woman so it makes sense that her character would be stuck behind the times and not as though she's forever trying to recapture her teen glory days.

As one of the promotions, Barry Williams (Greg Brady) is dressed in an ALF costume. He is made to dance around looking like a complete fool. After the dance, he takes the head off of his costume and says to the audience, "why couldn't they have cousin Oliver do this?" He was simply making a joke.

It's not worth it. Its not specially terrible or wonderful.

He's having fun doing it and making money too. He's one that seems proud to have been a part of the show, so good for him :cool: . I'm not sure about the others. :confused:

I totally agree! ;) I think it's wonderful that he has good memories of playing Greg Brady! And wanted to do the promos for METV ! He seems like a nice guy with a good sense of humor! :)

So, to put in perspective, it's been 43 years since the show's been off the air. Does this mean that folks in 1974 would have no problems seeing 70-something Gloria Swanson get into a 1920's vamp costume? Well, I guess this thread shows there's a market.
