Mom and I have discovered a new channel on Direct TV called FETV and I would like to know if you have heard of FETV? From what Mom and I saw of FETV they show classic sitcoms such as One Day At A Time Father Knows Best Designing Women Maude and other shows like Lassie Perry Mason and The Lone Ranger. Mom and I didn't know that FETV existed until we saw this channel added to our Direct TV lineup. When did Direct TV add FETV and what is the history of FETV? Is it like Antenna TV or INSP Channel but better?

I have FETV on Dish Network on channel 82. It mainly plays shows from Cozi TV. It's just not the full schedule of Cozi. But they do have some pretty good shows on like Maude. Also they show Barney Miller, which is good since it was on FamilyNet and that changed to the Cowboy channel.

I don't have that channel and satellite.

FETV is a sister channel to Cozi TV? I didn't know that and that news really surprised me. Mom loves FETV and this morning she got to watch One Day At A Time and you can say that has been the only channel we have watched all afternoon today. Mom and I also discovered that FETV has Hart To Hart shown at 8:00 PM PT and another classic show called Sargent Preston and Bewitched air on FETV as well

Mom and I also discovered that FETV also shows Hazel and The Flying Nun and I think FETV is an amazing channel that has something for everyone and I think in the future FETV will expand it's lineup to add more classic sitcoms like The Addams Family My Little Margie and more sitcoms from the 1970's and 80's such as Alice Charles In Charge and 227 and Gimme A Break. But another classic sitcom that should be added that hasn't been seen in years is Nanny And The Professor and it would be a perfect fit for FETV. And in their drama shows FETV should add Quincy and Marcus Welby MD and St. Elsewhere and that would be amazing to see on FETV

Does anybody know how ODAAT on FeTV compares to the butchered 19-minute Logo episodes? I wonder if they're the same as Antenna's, or completely unedited?

The episodes of One Day At A Time that FETV shows are completely unedited and have the original credits too without the splitscreen like some other channels do to sitcom reruns. If you like the sitcom episodes unedited FETV does an amazing job and another thing that surprised me about FETV is that the sitcoms have little or less commercial breaks so you can see the sitcoms with less commercial breaks
Glad to be of help Sven and hope this advice helps you

By the way, does FETV has tv ratings in the upper left corner of the screen at the beginning of programs like most channels do or not?

Looking at their website, they appear to be a network of LeSea Broadcasting. I can't see any connection to Cozi TV. If they're showing unedited shows, they're nothing like Cozi--Cozi is heavily edited.

Logo's shows are worse edits than Cozi. They're painfully obvious and done with the skill of a butcher. They edit SCENES out. Most networks edit out seconds here and there, maybe a minute, etc. but Logo hacks out over EIGHT minutes of a show! Ridiculous!

As far as I know the answer is yes FETV really is awesome and I think they will continue to bring in more viewers to the channel as it continues to add more sitcoms and more TV classics in the near future
Thank you very much Steve

Hi, Bestie! Do you think FETV will get other shows, like F Troop or Car 54 Where are you? I hope so. I am getting tired of Sgt. Preston. He is the Lone Ranger in a dog sled. What old shows do you think they should be showing?

Surprisingly FETV does not show TV rating signs at the beginning of each sitcom and probably because it's a new channel on TV and I noticed this surprise when I watched The Roy Rogers Show and One Day At A Time. But maybe someday FETV will add TV ratings at the beginning of shows in the future
Hope I helped you and hope this advice will be helpful to you The Big Cookie

I think as FETV continues to gain more viewers they will add more classic sitcoms and more shows. Some of the shows that would be great to see that FETV should air would be Sky King My Mother The Car Mannix and Mr. Ed and the National Velvet TV series. And as for classic sitcoms FETV should add Good Times Taxi Too Close For Comfort and Eight Is Enough to the lineup and that would be nice to see on FETV in the future
Thanks for writing to me my friend

I also think that FETV should also add The George Burns And Gracie Allen Show as well as The Donna Reed Show because they are classic sitcoms that should be shown on TV again

I saw a commercial on FETV advertising Matlock and Perry Mason and this surprised me because this is probably the first commercial advertising FETV and I think by getting more popularity FETV will continue to grow and probably be added to Comcast and other cable companies in the near future

On it website ask your cable provider to add fetv

I sure wish FETV could add reruns of The Love Boat as well as Soap because they are so nice to watch and it would be great to see. I have noticed that FETV shows a lot of Lassie and Lassie seems to be one of FETV's most popular classic reruns. But FETV could add McHale's Navy and Mork And Mindy to the lineup in place of Sargent Preston and Lassie and that would be so exciting to watch

I just noticed that we have this channel now. Channel 155 on FIOS - right between all the shopping channels! No wonder I never noticed it before. Looks like a great schedule of shows. The website states it is carried by Dish, Direct TV, AT&T UVerse, Frontier, FIOS and Comcast (in select markets).

I don't think that Comcast carries it in our area (Philadelphia metro area). Comcast has a pretty large footprint all over the United States. It was our only choice for cable until FIOS entered our market and we happily made the switch!

You know what would make FETV huge? If they had themed blocks like Henry Winkler Weekends where Happy Days would be shown or a block full of mystery shows such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents and a crime drama hour with shows like Baretta and Vegas would be seen and it would be a huge surprise for FETV fans and would work wonders for the FETV schedule. But you know what series would be perfect for FETV to add to their lineup? The Nancy Drew/The Hardy Boys TV series because the show has never been aired in reruns before and Nancy Drew fans like me would enjoy it
