Dear Diary,
Today I just met my new partner. I'm sad that Angela left, yet... glad I got this guy for a parter. His name is Nate Basso... and he's very good looking. He's nice too. This year should be a good one.

CD DeLorenzo sat on her bed, diary opened in her lap, pen end in her mouth. She sat- chewing the end of the pen, thinking. Then very slowly and carefully, she turned to the very first page of the diary and etched in neat, careful letters- "Candace Basso".
