Ian McKellen to Assess Stewie's mind

Sir Ian McKellen is about to venture inside Stewie’s brain.
The veteran actor will play a child psychologist on "Family Guy", EW has learned exclusively. McKellen’s Dr. Pritchfield meets with Stewie after Stewie misbehaves at school.
McKellen has a connection to "Family Guy". “One of our writers, Gary Janetti, who wrote the episode, also wrote the BBC series Vicious that starred him,” executive producer Alec Sulkin tells EW. “That’s how we were lucky enough to get him.”
McKellen’s episode is slated to air next spring as part of season 15, which kicks off Oct. 1st.
