Up has just added Touched By An Angel to their lineup replacing Growing Pains in the morning. Touched By Angel can now be seen at 5:00AM PT and 6:00AM PT every weekday morning. It's nice to see Up Channel adding stuff that's cool and fresh and different and Touched By An Angel proves it

So whatever happened to Growing Pains on that channel then?

UP has had the rights to Touched by an Angel for awhile. When they first got it they bragged about getting the rights to their most requested show. For awhile it had decent time slots and some primetime berths. Unfortunately they lost interest in it and Touched went off the lineup for several months. They have brought it back in various times this year but are way too trigger happy. It was pulled from Sunday nights 11PM-3AM and has since been pulled from weekday mornings when this thread was started. It is currently on Saturdays from 8AM-noon. But after that is 13 straight hours of America's Funniest Home Videos, that show airs way too much on weekends. UP has gone too far in a reality direction, first with the Supernanny pickup and AFV dominating the weekend times. Plus it is all reality originals on Thursday nights. Another slot that could be improved is weeknights from 11-1. The Parkers has been there forever, Touched by an Angel or Growing Pains would be big upgrades in those hours.
