View Full Version : Which Good Times character you relate to? TMC 07-18-2017, 09:30 PM In terms of personality or similar situations where you related to the character. lakesgirl 08-01-2017, 10:44 AM Michael - he was probably the most "normal". hatwink 08-27-2017, 12:01 AM I relate to Michael, too, but not the wimpiness, or the effeminate behavior. Bonniegirl 08-27-2017, 12:13 AM Florida! Being that I'm a wife and Mother ! And very much a housewife type of woman! ramled 10-23-2017, 03:03 AM Michael, because I was smart in school. Everyone called me Michael Evans, cause I wanted to be an attorney, and I liked public speaking, and I was articulate. I was not effiminate, but I was clean cut. And yes, when I was older, I realized I was gay. And I am an attorney. LOL. I consider the Michael Evans character a role model, quite frankly, for many young black gay men, now in our 40s and 50s. I see so much of me as a kid when I look back at both Ralph Carter and the character Michael Evans. QTMcWhiskers 03-25-2018, 06:18 PM Florida or JJ. She made a good role model for ANYBODY regardless of physical identity, and JJ did have a fun sense of humor (even if I dislike how the comedy bent ended up ruining the show, it was taken way too far.) AB 02-19-2020, 07:22 PM I relate to Florida the most since I'm a mom, wife and worker. |
