I wonder if the second season will ever come out on dvd. I've recently started back watching this show after many years. I hate the way the episodes are edited. So many scenes are cut. I want the uncut versions.

May I speak for all of our regular posters here, and say, agree!!! Though I would add we need all the seasons, especially for me and Bonnie, whose favorite characters aren't introduced until later.

Thanks for the welcome! Proud to be here. I grew up watching this show, although it was in reruns already because I was only born in 1979. It came on regularly when I was in junior high. Yes, we need the entire series to come out on dvd!! I want to enjoy the episodes uncut, and I would love for the actors to add some commentary on some episodes. How can we make this happen?

Probably contacting Shout! and asking/begging them would be the best bet. And I agree that it would be awesome to have commentary from the actors. Too bad two main performers are gone, but it would be great to hear the thoughts of the others involved!:)

Yeah, I feel cheated that we never got a dvd release of all seasons while Bonnie Franklin was alive. I would have loved to hear her do commentary on select episodes. We could still get good commentary from Valerie, Mack, and Glenn.

Yes. A complete series set. I've contacted Shout ! many a times on it. You never know... it may happen this year or next! I hope so at least.

They recently announced the much-awaited Green Acres, so let's keep our fingers crossed that ODAAT is next, or near to next!:) it would make sense, as I guess there's interest in the revival series.?

The revival series plus it's on Antenna (at least starting 7/22), Logo AND Fetv. So it's definitely popular again, and it's very requested. Hoping!!!
