View Full Version : Doesn't Belong
Scrabjan1 07-13-2017, 04:51 PM Which item doesn't belong?
Community Chest money
Haircut money
Lumpy's watch
Library book, Treasure Island
Puff Puff
stevea 07-13-2017, 08:45 PM All are about lost items (or living thing), except Lumpy's watch.
SaP81 07-13-2017, 10:51 PM Did he actually lose the book? If it was just over due then my call would
The book
If it was lost then
Puff Puff
stevea 07-14-2017, 04:42 PM I think he lost the book (he found it later, but it was still "losted.")
Marvo301 07-14-2017, 09:22 PM Lumpy's watch. Beaver lost all the other items. Lumpy lost his own watch but tried to "frame" Beaver for the crime.
Scrabjan1 07-16-2017, 10:13 AM Correct Marvo. That was my answer. I guess you could have a discussion about why you think it was library book or another answer.
Beaver actually did lose his haircut money, community chest money, library book and Puff Puff but he never had Lumpy's watch to lose. Lumpy was an extortionist.
stevea 07-16-2017, 12:30 PM Lumpy was a heel in this one, but in the later years, he turned into kind of a likable boob.
Uncle Billy 07-16-2017, 05:21 PM And we did not find out until the last season of LITB that Lumpy was such an outstanding football player, when he received an athletic scholarship to State University.
Brfore then, I think that it was stated that Lumpy was a track and field athlete at Mayfield High School.
Torgo 07-16-2017, 06:41 PM From trying to frame Beaver for stealing his watch, to trading comic books with him, Lumpy came along way.

I believe Lumpy competed in shot put and discus.
Scrabjan1 07-16-2017, 08:36 PM What did Ward say his nickname was on the football field, wall of granite. Beaver thought it was because he couldn't remember the plays. I think that's what they called him.
Torgo 07-17-2017, 01:53 PM Scrab, just wanted to say, I enjoy your threads like this, and your "In Common" ones, I don't always have the answer, or too slow., but I always enjoy reading them.:)
Scrabjan1 07-17-2017, 05:05 PM Thanks Torgo for your nice comment. I put some thought into them. Glad you appreciate them like others and Stevea. I love LITB and my mind is always working. Like I was just watching The Pipe and so glad Larry got into trouble for smoking. He never got into trouble for the drill or driving the one lunger. Poor Beaver never knew how to say NO!

Me too! Gee...they're great!
Scrabjan1 07-17-2017, 06:27 PM Okay here's another.
Which does not belong?
Betsy Patterson
Mary Tyler
Mary Margaret Matthews
Margie Manners
Donna Yeager
Linda Dennison
Melinda Neilson
stevea 07-17-2017, 07:42 PM OK I Know this one, I'd bet Torgo knows this one...we have some other, newer posters (and new members) here now...so have at it!
Scrabjan1 07-18-2017, 07:41 AM Sorry how I repeated Betsy Patterson. I added a new name instead.
Torgo 07-18-2017, 10:59 AM Thanks Torgo for your nice comment. I put some thought into them. Glad you appreciate them like others and Stevea. I love LITB and my mind is always working. Yes, Larry should have gotten in trouble for the drilling alongside Beaver. Beaver gave in to his peers. And yes, Larry was in the cart with him, he may not have been driving but he was just as much to blame as Beaver for them being out there.
stevea 07-18-2017, 03:22 PM Maybe the new quiz should be pasted into a new thread.
Scrabjan1 07-18-2017, 03:54 PM I'll do that now.....pasting it to a new thread.
