Warner Archieve Collection has just posted a picture of season 5 dvd release of Alice. The front art cover has from left to right....Belle, Alice, Vera and Mel. The lettering of Alice is in hunter green. There is no release date on the post though.

Wow! First Green Acres, now THIS! I am so happy to finally get these episodes and be able to toss my old VHS tapes. I just hope the Jolene episodes will follow quickly and we don't have to wait another 4 years for Season 6. I know there are more music issues to resolve.

This is my most-anticipated release of the year. In fact, I have held off on watching all the second-season episodes on my FLO set (for nearly FOUR years), because I wanted pair them up with the ALICE episodes that were airing at the same time. I can't wait!

Warner now has it up on the pre-order page for $34.99. Some listings are popping up on eBay already too for those outside the US who can't order direct.

The synopsis at WB website sites the bad check episode with Vera and Cousin Wendell as included in Season 5 set release although they were originally broadcast in Season 6. Anyone know more about this?

Not sure. Perhaps it was one of those episodes they "held back" like they did with those two S2 eps they later aired as part of S4.

A friend of mine (and former Sitcoms Online member) said that he emailed Warner Bros. Archive thanking them for releasing season 5, and in their response, they said "Your wait for season 6 won't be long."

So this series might actually get completed next year!

Well it's possible (not confirmed, of course) that season six could come out this year. Then next year seasons 7, 8 and 9 could come. If not, at least 7 and 8, with 9 coming in early 2019. After all, look at the fast way they released the final seasons of “Family Matters.” Season five was 2/16/2016. Season six was 4/12/2016. Season seven was 7/26/2016. Season eight was 9/20/2016. Season nine was 11/8/2016. So, yes, I think “Alice” could be completed next year.

That would be great. Then I could finally buy this show and see it. I haven't bought any seasons yet because it's been incomplete for so long.

You will not see a Complete Series set for this show. Warner Archive is not like Shout Factory and they just don't operate that way.

I am loving the picture quality of this set. It looks better than the previous four releases.

I am almost done with Seaason 5! Hopefully Season 6 will be released soon.

Ah...that's good news! Hopefully it will be a pre-Christmas release.

When they get to S6 and beyond, I am interested to see what the cover art will look like. I have collected press and publicity photos from ALICE since 1992 and have only come across ONE color full cast photo from that era from the last season. I have some solo color portraits but no other color cast portraits. I assume they will either do a composite cover or Photoshop Celia into a color pic from the earlier seasons.

Any new info on S6??? It's nice seeing these unedited, remastered episodes instead of the 18-minute Logo episodes which look older than they are... I can't wait for the rest of the seasons on DVD!
