I'm watching the Dutch Shultz segment with the subtitles on and someone at Amazon must have a sense of humor. When Stack says "Some say Lulu even drew him a map", the subtitles say: "William Shatner".

Am I losing my mind?

You can't lose what you don't have.

I noticed something today. In the segment about the missing girl taken by the bikers (Amy Biling?) they reused footage from when Rose Hoffman was looking for her son and went undercover to the biker hangouts. (Gus Hoffman)

Yeah there are several examples of times they re-used footage in different segments. In the Keith Reinhard segment, there is a scene of rescue/search workers in the woods looking for him. A worker puts his hand up to his mouth to amplify his voice & yells "Keith." The fact that he put his hand up (obscuring his lips) allowed UM re-use the scene in at least 2 other segments by simply re-dubbing the name of the missing person. I can't remember for sure which segments, but I believe one was Nyleen Marshall.

I think they did this in the Tommy Gibson and Michael Rosenblum segments.

I've definitely noticed the "stock search" footage...

The actor that played "Brushy Bill" in the Billy the Kid segment is the same actor that played the mysterious carpenter in Miracle Staircase segment.

Almost every time they use a police car on the scene of the reenactment, they reuse a stock soundbite of a woman's voice in police comms radio, often with a "9-9-9 something" that is audible.
