It is very interesting. I'm surprised The Cosby Show didn't make the list. The same with Friends.

Cosby is an error I'm going to edit and fix. Friends didn't make it.

A couple of interesting things about these rankings:
1. 1970s is the most popular decade for sitcoms. It has more total posts than even General Sitcom Discussion.
2. That's So Raven is way out in front on posts. She's been on several shows and is undoubtedly popular, but the number of posts looks way out of line to me. I didn't look at the posts, but it looks like it might have been "stacked" by one or two posters (Just a guess). This was a Disney sitcom, so it wouldn't have had nearly the exposure that a network sitcom would.
3. Chico and The Man - I don't know much about the sitcom, but I checked and it ran 4 seasons on NBC, #3 in S1, #25 is S2, and not in the top 30 for the last 2. It seems oddly popular on here--only a limited number of episodes released on DVD--no season sets or anything.

I'm surprised Seinfeld is at the top of the 90's list. The majority of posters here seem to not like it.
That's so Raven

TSR was a very popular board over a decade ago. We used to call them Raven groupies. lol I don't think as a whole it was very popular. Not many serious discussions on that board.
