If we keep going down this road, nothing of quality will ever be made because everyone will worry about representing all groups all the time, to the extent that other things, like good stories, etc. will be secondary considerations.


Look, women are at least as smart as, if not smarter than men, but this kind of bean picking is counterproductive. It seems like the show has done pretty well with the group of people it has. Sure, hire great women to work, but please DON'T hire someone just because "we need more women". That's just as bad as NOT hiring someone because they are a woman, IMO.
