no doubt it is because nobody watched them on Prime anymore after the Stack episodes were uploaded so now they can just put them on Youtube.

I'd only watch the Farina version for certain segments that aren't available in the Stack version.

Nothing. FilmRise just uploaded them to YouTube in addition to being available to stream via Prime. In fact, they've been up on YouTube for over four months now, since February 22nd.

I did not even know that until now.

Does Cosgrove & Maurer know about this?

We know how ban happy they get when UM content is on there. Or does it have to be UM content narrated by Robert Stack?

I think the Farina ones are on there precisely because they're the first choice of relatively few people. This series was produced, and FilmRise likely had to buy it along with the more desirable original Stack episodes. So why not get a trickle of ad revenue?

The Stack episodes are no doubt draws. That's why you have to pay for Amazon Prime to get them

Probably hardly anyone watched the Farina segments n Prime once the Stack segments uploaded, so they can put them on Youtube

Even Farina wouldn't bother.

According to my cable guide UM returns to Lifetime next week, a relationship that will never end!

I assume it will be the Farina versions.

You're right. Guess Filmrise still allows Lifetime to air the show if they want.

Hoping I'll be able to record several segments that weren't on Amazon Prime, especially Don Kemp. I already have many of the missing Stack segments on another DVD set.

Was Bonnie Wilder, Tara Calico, Melvine Aprille, Tony Alamo, Estelle, or any of the Final Appeal episodes on the Farina episodes?

They really suck compared to the Stack version (no fault of Farina's), so C&M are more than happy to let them be shared with anyone who wants to watch them.

The Luis Diaz and Jeffrey MacDonald segments were re-edited for the Farina episodes, but I don't remember which seasons and episodes.

The Stack ones will probably end up on YT (via Filmrise) eventually too, which will be a hilarious ending to the vintage UM saga.

Doubt it. Amazon Prime probably wants them exclusive to Prime so you have to pay for it

That's not how it works. Filmrise has Forensic Files on Youtube, Netflix and Prime. They have Farina UM on YT and Prime.

Stack UM is exclusive to Amazon for now but it won't stay that way. It may take a couple years but I'm sure it will be on YT eventually.
