That reminds me of a routine that George Burns used to do on Johnny Carson.

George was in his 90's and would say to Johnny, "Even at my age, I smoke 15-20 cigars a day, drink 3-4 glasses of whiskey a day, and eat whatever I want."

Johnny would reply, "What does your doctor say?"

George Burns, "My doctor's dead."

I have this friend who is a high school teacher at my now alma-matter, and she is just like Jan Brady! Oh, and also happens to share a name with one of the Brady girls.

She's the middle sister in her family, and she has two sisters also. She also does something related to the arts, just like Jan on the show and in real life.

The only difference is that she doesn't do art (painting). Instead, she plays music. But doesn't teach those subjects though. She teaches cooking instead.

When I am not feeling happy, I like to think of my situations as my favorite shows to make me feel better and calm down.

For instance:

If I feel upset, I would either be transformed into a Brady or just simply be myself and would immediately be set in The Brady Bunch. Those scenarios would be set in the time period the show was set in with a little bit of modern thrown in.

If I felt mad, I would be a part of Night Court and would go on a date with one of the main men characters and talk to them about what's on my mind.

Wow! What a great line-up! I like all of those bands. Especially The Doobies. It would have been perfect if Paul McCartney had been there.;)

And yes, $6.00 is a lot of money for a drink of water but unfortunately , like the movie theaters, the over-priced concessions is where their profits come from.

Uncle Pauly's coming in September. Have my tickets of course. :)

At those ticket prices, they made plenty of profits before the concessions including those $10 tee shirts for $40. I remember the first concert I went to and the tee shirts were $7 and I wouldn't buy one because $7 for a tee shirt was outrageous.

Vince Gill and Glenn Frey's son Deacon took turns singing his songs on Saturday night.

Last night at the end of the show Stevie Nicks commented that they were watching from backstage and thought Deacon did a tremendous job under such pressure.

My younger sister has MS but so far it is very slow. She was diagnosed almost 20 years ago when she was in her late 30's. She has the slow progressing type I guess. Not a celebrity, but I went to school with a girl who starred in the 1983 family mystery movie Mystery Mansion. She was a local celeb in the school while filming it, though I think us kids were mostly jealous because she got to miss a few days of school.

Does some Broadway work, but is probably best known as recurring on Sex and the City. And yes, some Match Game, as recently as last night.

He has done movies, along with Broadway and television work such as Chappelle's Show.

And like opus said, he has been on the new version of Match Game as a panelist.

yea, everything's ok. I have trouble talking because of my condition,so the doctor operated on my vocal chords a few months ago and inserted an implant to move them closer together to improve my voice. It was starting to get better but then it stopped. He examined me and found that implant had slipped so now he wants to operate on me again to fix it.

Well y'all already know one thing about me from my signature, but since I moved into my condo on January 31st I've been sleeping on the couch b/c I got rid of my bed. I thought it was going to be a temporary thing but unfortunately when I moved in, I told the movers to put all the boxes in my bedroom. So I'm still trying to motivate myself to clean up my bedroom enough to have space for a bed. It's not the money that's the problem, and it will be SO nice to finally have a bed where I can stretch out. Fortunately the couch is pretty comfy, but my DVR is in my bedroom and I'd have a lot more options of stuff to watch in there than in the living room. Hopefully soon....

I enjoy all types of movies from different eras but I have a fondness for the silents since they are so rare..

Other random facts about me.

Obsessed with music, and I enjoy all genres (from heavy metal to classical). I have also attended nearly 200 concerts since the early 2010s.
