What is your all-time favorite episode of "The Simpsons" and why?

It showcases all the lesser characters, and provided some of the Simpsons' funniest moments. Plus, it had Cletus the Slack Jawed Yokel's theme song!

My favorite episode is where Krusty the Clown got arrested in the Kwik-E-Mart and it was not him it was Sideshow Bob.

I love the episode where all of Barts friends team up with his Grandpa and beat up Nelson. Although there is 2 many good 1's to choose the best!

Two best episodes are the "B-Sharps" episode and the episode with the "Monothingy".

The B-sharps is great because it was such a brilliant take off on the Beatles. If you are a knowlegable Beatles fan there are a lot of subtle inside jokes in that episode. It took true genius to write that one. Plus the addition of George Harrison garners bonus points.

The Monothingy episode has to be considered because it gave to the world Homer's immortal line "Donughts...is there anything they can't do?"

Let's not forget about the "insanity peppers" episode. That one is probably my favorite. You know, the one that featured Johnny Cash as the "space Coyote".

I also like the one where Homer got to see his mom. I did not even know that Homer's mom was alive until I saw that. I thought she was dead or something...

The one where Homer thought he saw an alien and it turned out to be Mr. Burns.

I LOVED FLAMING MOES BECAUSE ITS BRILLIANT ON SO MANY LEVELS!

One that I love is the one where Mr. Burns opens a casino and Marge develops a gambling addition and great quotes!
Marge: Maybe I should get some professinal help

It's a pretty tough call between the "You're Cut" episode where Homer takes over Flanders' job of football coach, and the "Curfew" episode, where the kids of Springfield are put on curfew because of some adult vandals. But since I only have one choice it would have to be the curfew episode, mainly because of the "Kids and Adults" song toward the end and the fact that the senior citizens won the argument by putting everybody younger than them on curfew. I also like the "Someone should iron you" line by Ralph and the old man complaining during the closing credits about his pills being kicked down the drain. Sorry about the length.

The Way We Was. The episode where Homer and Marge almost went to the prom together. I guess I'm a romance freak.

Oh, and that one where they showcased all the Simpsons spinoffs. Strange, but funny.

Who Shot Mr. Burns was also cool.

I also like the one where they told about Lisa's Sax. In the beginning, they had a parody of the theme of "All in the Family"...

I also like the one where Lisa went to Washington..

Theres is a lot of them i like but my favorite is prolly the one where Lisa has too much stress and her and homer go into these boxes where it is supposed to rest there mind :-)

The Halloween specials are the best. The one with the toaster that is a time machine is one the greatest episodes in tv history.

Aside from those I like the one where Marge goes into the pretzel making business if only for the cool fight scene at the end.

I would say problably the one where they went to New York, or the monorail one. I cant decide.

My favorite is The Flaming Moe one with Aerosmith. I also love the John Waters/gay steel-workers one. I also love the comic book one where Martin Millhouse and Bart buy the Radioactivman #1 comic.AND OF COURSE the Halloween ones...especially the one with the Krusty doll tryin to kill HOMER!!!!...oh yeah,wait...the flashback ones where they show Marge and Homer as teenagers and newlyweds...God,so many to mention. This is one of those shows like I love Lucy...people will be talking about certain episodes years from now!

It's the one where Homer teaches a relationship class and tells everyone his and Marge's bedroom secrets.

I love that episode. I have so many favorites that it's hard to mention them all. My favorite episode list tends to change from week to week.

I've got so many favourites, but I really like the one from the second season when Bart gets run over by Mr Burns, I also like the Ice scating, Pee-Wee football and any with side show Bob except the last one.

My favorite episode is when Homer has a crush on the new female employee at the nuclear plant (voiced by Michelle Pfeiffer). I love it when Homer is thinking about her and starts to say "think unsexy thoughts" and an image of Barney in a bikini singing the theme to I Dream of Jeannie pops into his mind. :lol:

My favorite Simpsons episode is where Bart calls Moe's Tavern and asks for "Seemore Butts." I have a handheld tape recorder, and I laughed even harder when I played really fast and really slow.

MY favorite is the one from the first Season when Bart first meets Nelson. It's an oldie but goodie in my opinion.

oh, I have all kinds of fav's. I like the one where homer gets a motorcycle, and then barts laughing at him cuz he can't drive it

I like the Halloween Episodes and the one where Homer gets a computer and becomes Mr. X. One scene from the episode is where he is on the toilet and starts singing! :lol: I love that episode! I think its called 'The Computer Wore Menace Shoes' or something like that.

Ohh yeah, I remember there was a big contest at the time to see who would guess it right.. What was the prize?

One of mine is Cape Feare, with the deleted scenes.

There is one deleted scene where Homer goes downstairs during to get a midnight feast and sees Cheif Wiggum eating a sloppy joe's, he asks where he got if from and he said maid Conseula (spelling?) made it for him (the maid is dressed as sideshow bob) later after homer goes back to bed he says "yep good old maid Conseula" then he screams "We dont have a maid!"

I like most episodes; they are all funny in their own way.
What does come to mind though are;

the ep where Homer has a fight with the garbage man, the ep where Moe opens the restaurant, and Cape Feare, with side show Bob. All very funny!

Last Exit to Springfield and the one when Homer eats the chilli pepper and it makes Marge mad. I can't recall what it's called. Oh I also love The Springfield Files

The simpson is one of best series.Recently I saw a show, I Dont remember the name of the episode but it based on kidnapping of BOB and finding of a boy in France.It was Hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing. what a Great show it was.
