View Full Version : What's Your Favorite Episode? Brett Ferino 12-25-2000, 04:00 PM What is your all-time favorite episode of "The Simpsons" and why? The Obsolete Man 12-27-2000, 09:42 PM 22 Short Films About Springfield. It showcases all the lesser characters, and provided some of the Simpsons' funniest moments. Plus, it had Cletus the Slack Jawed Yokel's theme song! "Some Folk'll never eat a skunk, and then again some folk'll Like Cletus, the Slack Jawed Yokel!!!" Priceless. Brett Ferino 12-29-2000, 02:08 PM My favorite episode is where Krusty the Clown got arrested in the Kwik-E-Mart and it was not him it was Sideshow Bob. ?????????????????????????????? See ya! - BJF ?????????????????????????????? Chief Wiggum: Well we've made a terrible, terrible mistake. But, it won't happen again. Krusty: It better not you dim whit. gking91762 01-20-2001, 11:54 AM I love the episode where all of Barts friends team up with his Grandpa and beat up Nelson. Although there is 2 many good 1's to choose the best! Amandahugginkiss 01-25-2001, 12:55 AM Two best episodes are the "B-Sharps" episode and the episode with the "Monothingy". The B-sharps is great because it was such a brilliant take off on the Beatles. If you are a knowlegable Beatles fan there are a lot of subtle inside jokes in that episode. It took true genius to write that one. Plus the addition of George Harrison garners bonus points. The Monothingy episode has to be considered because it gave to the world Homer's immortal line "Donughts...is there anything they can't do?" Biskitbarrel 01-30-2001, 01:43 AM Let's not forget about the "insanity peppers" episode. That one is probably my favorite. You know, the one that featured Johnny Cash as the "space Coyote". Brett Ferino 02-27-2001, 05:17 PM I also like the one where Homer got to see his mom. I did not even know that Homer's mom was alive until I saw that. I thought she was dead or something... the j man 03-06-2001, 11:40 AM The one where Homer thought he saw an alien and it turned out to be Mr. Burns. APPLEI 03-06-2001, 11:53 PM I LOVED FLAMING MOES BECAUSE ITS BRILLIANT ON SO MANY LEVELS! greenpython 04-03-2001, 09:30 AM One that I love is the one where Mr. Burns opens a casino and Marge develops a gambling addition and great quotes! Marge: Maybe I should get some professinal help Homer: No! that's too expensive, just don't do it anymore! Ralph: I'm Idaho! Skinner: yes of course you are Goulet: are you sure this is the casino? maybe I should call my manager Nelson : your manager is telling you to shut up! Goulet: Vira said that? Hmmm. ------------------ "You have the right to remain silent everything you say blah , blah , blah" Chief Wiggum arresting Krusty greenpython 04-03-2001, 09:34 AM One that I love is the one where Mr. Hmmm. Goulet: Thank you very much! (Goulet hits MIlhouse with the microphone by accident) Milhouse: OW! Goulet: Oh , I'm sorry kid ------------------ "You have the right to remain silent everything you say blah , blah , blah" Chief Wiggum arresting Krusty allen 04-03-2001, 09:13 PM It's a pretty tough call between the "You're Cut" episode where Homer takes over Flanders' job of football coach, and the "Curfew" episode, where the kids of Springfield are put on curfew because of some adult vandals. But since I only have one choice it would have to be the curfew episode, mainly because of the "Kids and Adults" song toward the end and the fact that the senior citizens won the argument by putting everybody younger than them on curfew. I also like the "Someone should iron you" line by Ralph and the old man complaining during the closing credits about his pills being kicked down the drain. Sorry about the length. dawsongirl 04-27-2001, 10:46 PM The Way We Was. The episode where Homer and Marge almost went to the prom together. I guess I'm a romance freak. Oh, and that one where they showcased all the Simpsons spinoffs. Strange, but funny. Who Shot Mr. Burns was also cool. Brett Ferino 04-28-2001, 02:31 PM I also like the one where they told about Lisa's Sax. In the beginning, they had a parody of the theme of "All in the Family"... Brett Ferino 05-01-2001, 03:19 PM I also like the one where Lisa went to Washington.. Truth 05-15-2001, 03:59 PM Theres is a lot of them i like but my favorite is prolly the one where Lisa has too much stress and her and homer go into these boxes where it is supposed to rest there mind :-) ------------------ This signature is the best signature on this board! DJM77 05-17-2001, 07:19 PM The one where a hurricane destroys the Flanders house. It was hilarious. Crash 05-20-2001, 11:40 PM Homer skips church... "I'm wizzin with the door open and I love it" "Gee Apu, when they were handing out religions you must of been out takin a wiz" I could go on and on. or the Duff Brewery tour. That was really, REALLY good too. enfuegoy2j 08-11-2001, 08:43 PM I liked the one when they changed their name to The Thompsons and moved to Cape Fear to get away from sideshow Bob. Heather Hartnett 08-15-2001, 04:03 PM i could go on and on and on about episodes i love...but I guessa few of my favorites are... The one with the toaster that is a time machine is one the greatest episodes in tv history. Aside from those I like the one where Marge goes into the pretzel making business if only for the cool fight scene at the end. Anders 10-27-2001, 10:03 AM I would say problably the one where they went to New York, or the monorail one. I cant decide. mamamiasweetpeaches 02-05-2002, 02:48 PM My favorite is The Flaming Moe one with Aerosmith. I also love the John Waters/gay steel-workers one. I also love the comic book one where Martin Millhouse and Bart buy the Radioactivman #1 comic.AND OF COURSE the Halloween ones...especially the one with the Krusty doll tryin to kill HOMER!!!!...oh yeah,wait...the flashback ones where they show Marge and Homer as teenagers and newlyweds...God,so many to mention. Marge did a nervous breakdown and she went to Rancho-relaxo! The monorail! When the kids went to Krusty's summer camp! When there's a meteor falling down on Springfield! Amanda89 03-03-2002, 08:52 PM -the one when Apu's kids are born -the one when Homer and Ned go to Los Vegas -the one when Homer gains weight so he can work at home Tourmaline 03-10-2002, 01:45 PM From the early seasons, definitely "Lemon of Troy".
