Ward said this to June in the Bank Account/Hunting Jacket episode.

In a later episode he talks to her about marketing surveys. Both of these could fit with being in real estate.

Sure sounded like Ward was a realtor. Maybe he changed jobs. In Beaver and Poncho I believe Ward is bawling out one of his employees about shoddy work. I always thought he was in advertising like Don Draper-Mad Men.

Wasn't one of the surveys about women and their shopping habits? I thought June read one of the drafts to give her input. I am not sure if I remember her giving input or not.

Of course we all know Ward's real job was at the Salt Mines.

I always thought of Ward as being an accountant or a financial advisor. I know he was always trying to teach Wally and Beaver the value of a dollar!

Well so much for the realtor idea--you're right about the women's shopping habits. Back to the salt mines...
