I wish that it could be done so that your signature would show on your first post to a posting, then only what you want to write if you add more later. That way, the signature is there, but you don't have to keep scrolling through pictures, colored text, animation, etc to find out what is trying to be said. I try to turn my signature off if I post in a board more than once. I don't always remember it, but I try....
