My first Smart phone was a galaxy S3 which is the android operating system. Many phones I owned after that we're also android phones, such as LG's Galaxy S4 and my last android phone Motorola Moto G 4th generation. Some of my friends own iPhones and convinced me that the iPhone Was superior to the android in many ways and so like the guy who has to fix something that isn't broke, I had to go buy an iPhone 7 Plus I went for the 256 GB unlocked which is the biggest one they build, $969.00 at the Apple store...YIKES! The most I ever paid for an android is $399 and that was for a good one, but I had to try the iPhone. Hear are common problems I found with the iPhone iOS that I never found with the android or at least the androids I had.
...Screen brightness darkens on its own with auto brightness turned off. Wont go past 3/4. The slide bar will go up it just won't get brighter you have to reboot the phone to get it to reset. Software issue.
...Microphone on phone calls breaks up allot and people cant hear all your conversation. Software issue
...Phone gets very hot, even when not in use and at low power. Software issue.
You have to use itunes to download music even if its a transfer from your mp3 player, whereas the Android can dowload from any source. The worst thing is, many times phone will lockup on me.
Everone has their own idea what a good Smart phone is and some people still believe the iPhone is superior to the android. It just is not to me.
If I had never owned an Android and bought iPhones only I probably could've got used to all this. Anyway I don't care what my friends say android is far superior to iOS in many ways. The iphone does have some good perksi, but to me, the bad out weighs the good. The iPhone is going back and I'm going to get me a galaxy note 5 which is a lesser price phone but a better one. IMO
