For years I've been haunted by the irresistible Rhoda 'theme' music - its snappy 1970s rhythms always cheer me up. Is there any decent/original recording of it in its various incarnations availabe on CD? I presume not, but there certainly should be!

I always liked the closing at the end of the first and second season when she tries to throw her hat up like Mary but the wind blows it. I would crack up over that.

I like the different incarnations of Rhoda's theme as well, and I was able to find moderately decent wav files of them on .www.Soundamerica.com (http://www.soundamerica.com) . All five seasons are on there, along with the alternate theme from Season Three.

Of course, you can get most of those files on this site, too! (Sorry, I'm new here!)

I liked the theme music as well, although the version from the second season (with the children singing, "La la la LA la, la la la LA...") annoyed the "h-e-double hockey sticks" out of me, so much so that I would turn the sound down until the end of the intro!
But you can't beat the first season, with Rhoda telling her story!
