Does anyone know what episode this clip is from? Did it fall to the cutting room floor? I have never noticed what episode it could possibly be from, and I've always wanted to know.

View Full Version : Opening Credits - Unidentifiable Clip '80sSitcoms 06-20-2017, 01:10 PM Does anyone know what episode this clip is from? Did it fall to the cutting room floor? I have never noticed what episode it could possibly be from, and I've always wanted to know. '80sSitcoms 11-14-2017, 11:08 AM Well for some reason, I can't delete this thread even though I created it; perhaps too much time has lapsed? Anyway, I finally saw which episode this is from! It's the season 2 episode "Washington Affair" guest starring Billy Dee Williams, where Mary pretends to be a foreign Prime Minister at a lavish D.C. party and Billy Dee is there. Finally, now I know! :) GSU2004 03-17-2018, 11:58 PM Glad you figured it out as I remembered seeing it in an episode but forget the title of it. A few rare times sitcoms have clips of deleted scenes as part of the opening or modified intros for 'syndication' editions of the episodes. There are two editions of the Jackee pilot (an episode in the 4th season). The unedited version showed a theme song for the series with the same music playing over the closing credits (TVOne often showed that version). Then, the standard syndication edited showed a tossed together montage of fifth season episode clips and a handful of 4th season with Jackee themed episodes. That one is on youtube as well. '80sSitcoms 03-20-2018, 09:59 AM Yes, I was very fortunate to have been able to see the "Jackee" pilot on TVOne in its original format! :-) |
