I found it unrealistic that cliff was a simple nice friendly father everyday of his life with 5 kids and 4 of them teenagers walking around the house with problems in there lives, why was cliff always mild mannered all the time, even clair had a few bad moments where she screamed at the kids, so why was cliff mild mannered the whole 8 seasons without getting angry ???
