As the Nintendo Entertainment System continued to be popular in the 80's a cartoon debuted named Captain N The Game Master and followed the adventures of a video game fan named Kevin who entered a secret video game world only open to him though his Nintendo Entertainment System and became the animated character Captain N who with his Nintendo game friends Simon Belmont from Castlevania Mega Man and Kid Icarus solved challenges and discovered new ways to victory as he tried to solve his Nintendo games. Captain N The Game Master later became part of The Super Mario Bros Super Show and the show was retitled Captain N And The Legend Of Zelda and then later Captain N And Super Mario Bros 3. It's pretty amazing that as the Nintendo Entertainment System became more popular than ever cartoons based on video games would soon become huge and spread like wildfire in the cartoon world that many video game fans would enjoy
