I have been noticing that Food Network is attracting a new audience by having lots of celebrities host cooking shows on their lineup and I have never figured it out. Is it because Food Network hopes that celebrity cooking shows help to attract ratings to the channel or is it because Food Network thinks that celebrity cooking shows will make the celebrity's career soar to even more popularity and gain a bigger fanbase? Because it seems that almost every celebrity such as country singer Trisha Yearwood to Catch 21 host Alfonso Ribeiro has lent their name to Food Network by having a cooking show of their own and it seems that the current Food Network stars such as Bobby Flay Alton Brown Guy Fieri and Sunny Anderson have been replaced by celebrities while the other Food Network stars such as Sandra Lee Justin Willman and Marc Summers are rarely seen. Will Food Network suddenly become a celebrity cooking show channel because of this new image?
