Selena Gomez Talks "Wizards of Waverly Place" Revival

With Raven Baxter returning to television this summer, Miss Frizzle and Carmen Sandiego on their way, and "Sister, Sister" hoping to get a second act, it’s no surprise that some "Wizards of Waverly Place" fans might be hoping for a revival of the popular Disney series.
Series star Selena Gomez most recently fielded a question regarding exactly that on during her appearance on the "Zach Sang Show".
“I don’t know… but it was fun,” Gomez said about her time on the show. “I didn’t think it was going to be that big of a deal when me and David Henrie, my older brother on the show, were talking about it. But I understand. I’m so proud of that. It was so fun, and it was so funny.”
She continued: “We were having dinner and talking about it hypothetically, where we would be, but we’re all older. David’s married now so we’re in such different places in our lives.”
However, Gomez is open to possibly serving as the executive producer for a series featuring the next generation of Russo family wizard. “That’d be cool,” she said.
Gomez is currently one of the EPs of Netflix's popular "13 Reasons Why".
