In 2000, there was an episode from the very first season of Even Stevens called “Easy Way” where Shia LaBeouf’s character Louis Stevens decides that for a school charity event, he will volunteer to sit in a room and watch TV for 48 hours straight. People and the news media are fascinated by this, they watch Louis in person and on television, even though he’s just taking the easy way out and not doing anything.

In 2015, Shia LaBeouf did a live “performance” where he sat in a movie theater and live-streamed himself watching all of his movies for 72 hours in reverse chronological order. One of the films included was The Even Stevens Movie. People came to the theater to watch him in person, people watched it on the live-stream online, and the media even came to the theater and wrote many articles about it that were both positive and negative.
