"Legends of Tomorrow" Adds Tala Ashe as a Visitor from the Future

The Waverider is adding one more member to its superhero squad: "American Odyssey" and "Smash" actress Tala Ashe is joining "DC’s Legends of Tomorrow" Season 3 in a new series regular role.
Ashe will portray Zari Adrianna Tomaz, a Muslim-American woman from the year 2030. In her future, technological advances have brought about significant change to civilization, but humanity’s fear, prejudice, and mistreatment of the planet have prompted her to become a “grey hat hacktivist.”
Tomaz may be a computer nerd, but she doesn’t yet realize she holds hidden powers derived from a mystical source.
