Do you know whom I feel most sorry for in this episode? The wife. At one point she gives her bookworm husband a book as a present. When he opens the book, he sees that every word has been crossed out. Think about this. Do you know how much effort it would take to cross out every word, every line, every page of a 100 to 200-page book and make sure every word is actually illegible?? The poor woman. Her hands must have gotten blisters from doing this. AND she dies from the hydrogen bomb. Doesn't anyone feel for her, anyone at all?? That is a rhetorical question, since I'm pretty sure I'm the only one ever, lol.

P.S. I was expecting a lot more people here since the IMDb TZ board used to have tons of posts every day. Where have all those posters gone?

The book wasn't a present, Henry had it hidden in his chair and she caught him trying to sneak it out of the house inside his coat pocket. Also, all the words weren't marked out. When Henry is turning the pages you can see that some words appear to be readable.

She was sadistic to do that and obviously didn't love her husband. I personally don't feel sorry for her at all.

I felt it must be strange to live and not want to read anything.
