I'd say there was a pretty strong likelihood he was intentionally exaggerating/joking when he made that comment.

It would be nice if Beaver OR TONY was here with us :)

Wouldn't that be great? I've seen a few other shows on this site where some involved people, or their relatives, chimed in occasionally.

One thing I'd really like to ask an actor: do actor ever have input on the set, where the director will actually allow them to change the dialogue somewhat?
