I wanted to start this thread now since there's always some people out there who may not know it's coming on.

I'll be watching this 1-hour show that will be on the Investigation Discovery channel on Monday, June 5th, 2017. Anyone else?

I'd like to see at least a few interviews w/ some old Cosby Show co-stars to see how they feel, but I have a feeling they won't...perhaps they would if it was going to be a 2-hour show. The last I knew, Phylicia Rashad was on his side.

Yes, they did an hour-long show about this same topic about a year ago. Several women he drugged spoke on their horrible encounter with Cosby. One of them was supermodel Beverly Johnson. No co-stars spoke then either if I recall. The bit I saw of Phylicia Rashad was a youtube video I happened to run across.

Overall, I haven't been following much either.

The jury is currently deadlocked but I hope they come to a consensus and convict him.

I have a bad feeling about this. Looks like a hung jury.

I think some of the jury might have mixed feelings about sending a blind, elderly man to jail for the rest of his life.

I would have no problem with it personally because he allegedly drugged and raped women for decades. He needs to pay the piper.

Wendy Williams said he should get house arrest in one of his less opulent dwellings.

I love Wendy. :) But I think he needs to be in regular jail like everyone else.

Cosby going to jail? Please. The man is almost 80 years old and going blind. The jury is invariably going to have sympathy for a man in his condition. Plus , the testimonies of some of the victims are questionable.

Why would they have sympathy with him? I grew up with the guy...loved the guy. I watched him every Saturday morning when I was a kid with Fat Albert . I watch The Cosby Show regularly . I have no sympathy for him. I hope he rotts. The guy had us all fooled.

It looks like another male celebrity got off. Sigh.

Since there is now an official mistrial in this case it's a possibility that some juror had some sort of "sympathy" for this "man." He will have more sympathy for his current condition (age/health) than he ever gave those women he has admitted to drugging, and I'm sure he's counting on people to be gullible enough to feel for him, the same way he counted on women to be gullible enough to trust him because he was "Bill Cosby" a celebrity and a "good guy family man" that any woman would have felt safe being alone with.

I am just sickened by the huge number of wrong-headed people who keep saying "there's no evidence" in this case. How demeaning to women in general.

Many of the accusers in this case are ON RECORD as having related the details of their assault to at least someone, shortly after it happened. Some, just to a friend. One or two even went to either an attorney, or the police. They were told they would not be believed. But their reports are documented, and/or confirmed by witnesses. The details of their stories match remarkably well, despite the fact these women had no connection to each other, and did not even know each other.

Why aren't the matching complaints of over 50 women considered excellent evidence? My guess is a lot of people would consider this a slam dunk if it involved 50 male victims. :(

The outrage over Bill Cosby is exacerbated because of the level of dissonance The Cosby Show created between his private and public life. He was already famous before that, but that show in particular went out of its way to paint an image of him as a family man, scholar, and icon of black progress.
