I wonder why most of them are women? Of all the ones I've had (and with my condition I've had a lot-and will have even more) 80 to 85% have always been women. Occupational therapists, speech therapists, physical therapists...all mostly women. I wonder why that is? That field must be attractive to them for some reason.

Good question. I am studying to become an addiction counselor and then a licensed professional counselor and now that you mention it, it seems most in my program are women.
